Hermanus

ENGLISH

This unique tour offers much more than just Whale watching
in the winter and spring season

We start off driving past the Cape Flats and the Townships
up
Sir Lowry's Pass for our first photo stop.
From here you will have magnificent views of the
False Bay
and Table Mountain.

Our journey continues passing Steenbras Dam, the Koegelberg
Biosphere Reserve and
Grabouw, which is the Fruit Basket of
the Western Cape and especially known for its apple plantations.

Reaching the top of
Houw Hoek Pass you will have a wonderful
view of the most fertile region in the southern Cape.

From there we drive to
Hermanus which between July
and November is the hot spot for
Whale watching and
with a little bit of luck and a calm sea you will be able to
watch the whales very closely.

Outside the whale watching season we can take you to the
"Hemmel en Aarde" Valley which is the wine region in the
Overberg, where you will have the opportunity to taste the wine.

We will be driving back via
Kleinmond and Betty's Bay where
we can visit the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens.
The scenic coastal road "
Clarence Drive" takes us
along the
False Bay to Gordons Bay and you can look up to
Sir Lowry's Pass from where our journey has started this morning.

From there we will take you back to your accommodation.

This tour can be changed driving in reverse way and
to your preference and personal interests.
