On this day tour we shall visit the most famous
wine region in South Africa.

The University town of
Stellenbosch is the second
oldest town in South Africa
and has the best preserved
historical Cape Dutch Architecture.
Many of these buildings are historical Monuments and
some are Museums that are open to the public.

You will have the opportunity to do some wine tasting,
as well as a tour of a wine cellar if you are interested.

From Stellenbosch our drive continues via
Helshoogte Pass
towards Franschhoek where we I will tell you the history
of the French Huguenots and you can see the
Huguenot Monument and Museum.

Franschhoek has serveral excellent restaurants and you can
sample some more local wines with your lunch.

In the afternoon we will drive in between the vineyards to our
next destination -
Paarl- where you can see the
Afrikaans Language Monument.

Before heading back to our point of destination
you have the choice of combining some more wine
tasting with a cheese tasting or a visit to a unique
Venetian style glass blowing Studio

From there we will take you back to your accommodation

This tour can be changed to your preference and personal interests.
